Southwick Wood

Southwick Wood is on the right hand side just past Southwick water tower between Glapthorn and Southwick.

The wood is small part of the remains of the medieval royal hunting forest, Rockingham Forest.

In late spring the floor of the forest can be found covered in bluebells.

Arriving with the bluebells, the flowers of the early purple orchid may also be spotted.
